This weekend was the annual Central Florida Zoo fundraiser.  Alas we forgot our camera this year so no photos on my blog .   Mark was dressed like Gilligan as the theme was Zoo-vivor.   I was an uncoorperative Ginger, as I wore a standard animal print jacket and bell bottom pants.   The Wassermans looked great as island inhabitants, and Mike and Suzanne Ertel did up the surfari gear very well.   This year we went with Rick and Brenda Brown which made it a whole lot more fun. 

Highlights of the evening include winning my auction bid for a $900 Lazer Hair Removal paying a mere $390.  Wow what a bargain.   The husbands apparently have stories of guarding our auction bids and/or preventing us from starting a brawl with the competition.   Suzanne apparently won a bid for an overnight camping trip at the Zoo.  That promises to be fun.  

The best part is that Mark's raffle ticket won the grand prize.  Two plane tickets to anywhere Air-Tran flys plus $2000.  That particular ticket was in Phyllis' name.  Mark is so good like that, he puts everyone elses name on the tickets.   So we get to deliver the grand prize over to Phyllis on Monday.  We called her that night but it will still be fun to see her face when she actually gets the booty. 

All in all a really fun night, probably the most fun we have had at a fundraiser in a long long time.   Thanks mostly to the friends we have made here in Seminole County.
