Slipknot and Trivium
The loudest concert we've ever heard.
I have to say I really love the UCF venue. We had AWESOME seats, 106 was the zone, row F seats 14 and 15, close to the aisle. I have to remember these seats b.c they were perfect.
Trivium
The down side is that I only got to see the last 5 songs in Trivium's set. We arrived late, but luckily Mark dropped me out front and I caught the end of the set. I have to say they totally rocked. I loved them and only wished I had seen a lot more. Although I really loved Slipknot, Trivium for me was the main event.
Slipknot
what can I say. Pure Nu metal, all texture, devoid of melody, but oh so fun and full of energy. Slipknot as many know, are considered one of the pioneers of the style. Their riff focused ultra heavy style is just like a big slap in the face. Although for the most part, serious metal critics give this band short shrift, to me Slipknot is a "gateway" band. It leads to harder things, like Death Metal.

In this above photo, you can see the drum set on the right went up and down and spun, particularly cool was Clown hung off the side while the set spun
