Adelitas Way in Orlando Backbooth with Aranda

Adelitas Way, Aranda and Halestorm rocked O-Town Tuesday night with a hard rocking performance at the Backbooth.   I never knew that little place could rock so hard.  I have a new found respect for that venue and for WJRR for promoting this show.

Adelitas Way sounded better than ever.  Creighton has an amazing sound that blends so well with each of the songs plus he is the nicest of guys.   The real story for me at this show  was Aranda.   I had the chance to get up close this time and watch every note of their set and can I just tell you that I have never ever ever seen a band this good live.

Adelitas Way

I was assigned to this show by Capitol.  We didn't have any posters for this venue, but I worked the merch table most of the time.    We had a great night merchandise wise and many many fans knew all about Adelitas Way and even sang every song during the set.  It was quite impressive.

I had the chance to chat more with Creighton and we found out we have very very similar tastes in metal music.   He also professes to be extremely shy and that normally can't talk to anyone but he feels comfortable with us because he knows us already.   (yeah b.c we accosted him in the parking lot in Tally before the show so he could meet all of us)

I personally didn't spend much time talking to any of the guys other than a few moments here and there.  I did get to talk to many of the fans and spend a lot of time hunting down the guys so fans could get autographs from their favorite band member.   At the end of the night with a little prodding  we manged to get all 5 guys behind the merch table.   Carie caught this shot which I just absolutely love.

Aranda

I had gotten the chance to know Dameon Aranda a bit in Tally, but in Orlando I chatted with everyone from Aranda because I was behind the merch table for so long and each of the Aranda guys took turns at their table.   Can I just say these guys are the REAL deal.   2 brothers a cousin and a "brother from another mother" as Dameon puts it and  each and every one is positively the nicest musician I have ever met, let alone probably the best.

Aranda classifies their music as Rock/Funk/Soul and they do have all of these styles mixed together to make music that is truly an experience, especially live.   Dameon and Gabriel are the heart and soul of the live show and they are mesmerizing as they work all their guitar antics.   If you love the guitar you will LOVE this band.   But don't miss the rhythm section while your eyes are  glued to the brothers.  Michael and Chad run a groove that is soul splitting and Chad's baseline tears your insides out.

After the show I hit up the bands Myspace page and they have some HD vids that show off their amazing performances.  Check out Dazed and Confused and you will be!
