First concert of the year 1/2/2010.   Ali met me at the HOB and we rocked to Sevendust.   We had hoped to watch the entire show from our great spot at the front of the floor, but that proved to be a live endangering endeavor.   We managed to stick it out for a few songs, thanks to some of the big guys near us who said they were the bleeding edge of the mosh pit.  Basically they formed the outer perimeter and had the job of keeping the rowdy bunch back into the circle.    Alas even with the noble efforts of these body guards, we were getting jarred and shaken to the point where we thought we would drop our expensive smuggled in cameras.
