Ali and I were SO lucky at Rockfest.  We purchased VIP Pit passes which meant we were the first into the pit.  Consequently we managed to get on the rail.  Needless to say we shot THE most amazing photos being in the front row. 

Only  drawback was the sound.  We stood directly behind a sub-woofer the entire show.   I even had to escape for a bit b.c the vibration was making me ill.  

Another great moment was meeting the guys from Smile Empty Soul.  This to me was probably the best part of the show.   I also REALLY loved seeing Alice in Chains.  That was a treat beyond belief.  Being so close to the great Jerry Cantrell was priceless.  The photos are awesome.   I also got some great shots of legendary Vinny Paul Abbott (Pantera and HellYeah) and Chad Grey (Mudvayne and HellYeah)/
