Ali and I always seem to get lucky at concerts. This time we won early entry passes.   We were standing pretty close to the front of the GA line when a guy from WJRR calls out he has free passes.  Ali starts throwing out the names of bands to play at Earthday Birthday and I do as well.   Sure enough we won.  Apparently the magic word was "Trivium" .  I certainly would not have forgotten they were playing since they are a favorite.

Because we had early entry, Ali and I were on the rail at the bend point around the stage extension.  Consequently we got amazing shots and video.   See below.

I was never a huge fan of Nickleback, but I really feel I got my monies worth at this show.   The light and pyro show was spectacular.   Not to mention 2 amazing opening bands.   I captured an awesome video of Emma during their Odd One song.   Odd One can be seen here on You Tube

Also below is a video of the opening of the Nickelback set.  This was their Dark Horse tour.  It was a really great show.
